Community fundraiser
A volunteer-run refreshment stand held in June 2024, raising funds toward outstanding school fees.
On 30 June 2024 volunteers ran a refreshment stand in Fremont, California. Proceeds were designated for charitable purposes and collected on the day.
Funds raised were applied to outstanding school fees for a child in a single-parent household, which were settled in full shortly afterward.
The event was organized and staffed entirely by volunteers.
